PR1000 is a heat cured, clear amber phenolic coating which exhibits outstanding properties in the areas of:

  1. Corrosion Resistance
  2. Abrasion Resistance
  3. Chemical Resistance
  4. Versatility

PM1000 meets the requirements of the U.S. Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) - Title 21 Food and Drugs, Chapter 1, Paragraph 175.300.

PM1000 is applied by spray coating the part, the typical coating thickness is 0.0005". 

The coating retards oxidation of the base material and is not meant to provide impact protection.

The recommended Maximum Operating Temperature of this high performance coating is 392°F (200°C).

PM1000 does not contain any plasticizers. Applications include tank linings, fans, blowers, filter plates, exhaust hoods, magnets, magnet assemblies, pole pieces, rotor assemblies and such.
