is an epoxy based coating applied in gray or black color. This process is offered for bonded Neodymium Iron Boron parts, giving it a durable finish that exhibits outstanding properties in the areas of:
- Corrosion Resistance
- Abrasion Resistance
- Chemical Resistance
- Versatility
is applied to all surfaces of the product. Masking is not offered. The application of the epoxy coating is primarily done to seal the magnets from high humidity environments. Typical coating thickness is .002". Final part tolerances (after finish) must be ±.002" or higher if specified on the drawing. If Cpk > 1.0 is required, the final part dimension must be ±.005" (after coating).
